Phaung Daw Oo International University (PIU) will provide a Bachelor of Nursing Science in collaboration with the Asia Pacific International University (APIU) in Thailand. Under this program, students from Myanmar will attend the first three years at PIU in Myanmar and another one year at APIU in Thailand. The program requires to fulfill 130 credits units in 8 semesters in which the students will be able to explore insightful knowledge of ethical values, knowledge, research, and innovation and skills in professional nursing from different universities. They can also develop confidence with clinical decision-making, communication, teamwork, and leadership through practical sessions. Qualified and competent lecturers will provide the essential principles, concepts and skills required to provide holistic care to patients in various healthcare settings and hands-on training for each nursing discipline. After getting bachelor degree in nursing science, the students become a professional nurse in healthcare institutions of all levels, both in the country and abroad.The language of instruction is English.
