Mikey Thiri Tun

Mikey@ Thiri Tun is a Phaung Daw Oo (PDO) Pre-College Program Batch (1)alumna. She is now one of the two Department Heads of the Fast Track EnglishClasses Department at Phaung Daw Oo Monastic Education High School. One of Thiri Tun’s main passions is debating. When studying on the Phaung Daw OoPre-College Program, she participated in the 2nd Myanmar National DebatingTournament with her team mates Nann Myint Soe and Myat Mon Thu. In thatcompetition, she was named “The Best Speaker in English” and her team wasawarded the 1st Runner-up prize. She has also served as a main judge in the AsiaYouth Forum. Sharing her skills and enthusiasm, Thiri Tun has trained PDO students andcoached young Myanmar people who were participating in International ScienceCompetitions and Educational Leadership Programs held in the United States,China, Vietnam, and Cambodia; helping them towards medal winning performances. Thiri Tun is always eager to share her knowledge and experience with youngpeople and teachers interested in the areas of Education and Development. Her prime motivation is “I value the importance of quality education to promotefresh and free learning environments in which education and internationalperspectives can flourish; so I use my Leadership and Management skills tofacilitate such environments for my community.

Su Mon Kyaw

From 2016 she learned Pali from Phone Phone Gyi, the principal of Phaung Da Oo Monastic high school. From that time she was interested to learn Pal language in speaking, writing and reading. In Pali department she learned t make pali dictionary and taught Pali Grammar to students. She also attende Bridging Class to learn English. She has a great opportunity to learn and get the scholarship from Internationa Buddhist College (IBC). In IBC She took Buddhist study also including computeclass. By learning Buddhist study, she could spread the teaching of the Buddh and also to promote the teaching in her own way. The activities in IBC ha affected on her study especially the skillful means in presentation

To learn Pali language it’s not for the monastic life. Everybody is able t learn Pali language as well as Buddhist devotee to understand the Teaching o the Buddha. For her life experience by learning pali language can change he mind into the right path.

Thae Thinzar Lin

I came from Yangon and also a University Student majoring in Law at YangonUniversity Of Distance Education. In 2018, I worked at a hotel as a receptionistin Mandalay. Studied at Tourism Assistant Project (Batch 4), and carrying out aninternship at My Myanmar Experience Travel and Tours. Now, I am working as anTour Operator at My Myanmar Experience Travel and Tours. Comments from ThaeThinzar Lin “Tourism Industry is one of the most important industries in acountry”. When you learned about Tourism Industry, you will getting know how tosave and develop our environment and our country. Teachers of TAP project areworking at Tourism Industry in person. Even it is not a comprehensible thing,they can explain, share their experience and knowledge altruistically aspossible as they can. Tun Aye(Mro)

Tun Aye Mro from Rakhine State, Maung Daw Township. Now, I am currently studyingB.A (Hons) in Business and Management at Strategy First University and volunteeras a communication officer at Mro Youths Educational Development Association. Inaddition, I recently graduated from Yadanarbon University majoring in Economics. " Being a minority ethnicity called Mro, I have struggled so much for myeducation but I am very lucky for getting a chance to join PDO Bridging programin 2015 which changed me a lot such as leadership, English language skills, andbrought many opportunities."
