25th years ago Phaung Daw Oo monastic education school was established by the two brothers, Ven Nayaka and Ven Jotika. During eight years times the school has been developed from primary to high school level: In 1993 Primary, In 1998 Secondary, In 2000 High School.

လူမှုယှက်နွယ်ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာကွန်ဖရင့် ** ဖောင်တော်ဦး အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ တက္ကသိုလ် Phaung Daw Oo International University (PIU)၊ ပါဠိနှင့် ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာ လေ့လာရေးဌာန၊ ကျောင်းသူကျောင်းသားများမှ စုစည်း၍ သာသနာတော်နှစ် ၂၅၆၇ ခုနှစ်၊ ၁၃၈၅ ခုနှစ်၊ တပေါင်းလပြည့်ကျော် ၂ ရက်( ၂၆.၃.၂၀၂၄) နေ့တွင် လူမှုယှက်နွယ် ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာ (Engaged Buddhism) ဟူသောအမည်ဖြင့် ကွန်ဖရင့် တစ်ခု ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်သွားမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါ ကွန်ဖရင့်သို့ (က) နိုင်ငံတော်ပရိယတ္တိသာသနာ့ တက္ကသိုလ် (မန္တလေး) (ခ) သီတဂူဗုဒ္ဓတက္ကသိုလ် (မန္တလေး) (ဂ) ဗုဒ္ဓတက္ကသိုလ် (မန္တလေး) (ဃ) ကမ္ဘာ့ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးတက္ကသိုလ် (မန္တလေး) မှ ပါမောက္ခများနှင့် စာသင်သားသံဃာ၊ သီလရှင်များ၊ ကျောင်းသူ၊ ကျောင်းသားများ ပူးပေါင်းပါဝင် တက်ရောက် လာကြမည် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ A conference will be held under the name of "Engaged Buddhism" on 2567 (B.E), the 2nd waning day of Tabaung,1385 (26.3.2024), organized by the students of the Pali and Buddhist Studies Department, Phaung Daw Oo International University (PIU). To the Conference, professors, bhikkhus, nuns, and lay students from: (a) State Parayatti Sasana University (Mandalay) (b) Sitagu International Buddhist Academy (Mandalay) (C) Buddhist University (Mandalay) (d) University of Global Peace (Mandalay) will participate.
